We created innovative jewelry product concepts for a start-up fashion company looking to bring illuminated earing designs to market.
What We Did
Initial Ideation
We explored different illuminated earing designs through sketching to think about the aesthetics, materials and construction.
Initial Prototyping
The client selected three concepts to prototype. These initial prototypes integrated lighting and were used to test our assumptions about how the earrings would be constructed and work as well as to evaluate the size, weight and other ergonomic and aesthetic considerations.
Aesthetic Exploration
Using the initial prototypes, we were able to experiment with different materials to aesthetics.
High-Fidelity Prototypes
The client We fabricated high-resolution functional prototypes that the client used to create initial marketing content before having production units.
