Inventor Garland Hill had an idea for a new CPR assistance device. We helped evaluate the engineering feasibility of the invention idea and created a functional prototype to test and demonstrate the invention.
We started the project to evaluating the inventor's original concept and IP to determine the feasibility of the proposed direction. We determined that a different configuration was needed to ensure the intended function of the invention.
We quickly constructed a bread-board model of the system using off-the-shelf electronics components and implemented simple control firmware to demonstrate and test the concept.
3D CAD modeling allowed us to design a compact configuration of the invention, built with some off-the-shelf components and some custom components. These CAD files were used to fabricate the custom physical parts with 3D printing and CNC milling.
Using our in-house prototyping capabilities, we fabricated and assembled a functional prototype that the client used to validate and demonstrate the invention.
