Serious Skincare was looking for a new look for their facial toner product. We were able to quickly produce an updated design and provide photorealistic renderings that allowed them to effectively communicate the new design to their stakeholders.
These 2D thumbnail sketches helped us to quickly generate a number of ideas and facilitated beneficial conversations with the client to help us determine the forms worth exploring further.
We started working through the 3D form using a hybrid modeling technique of using carvable foam and actual components. This allowed us to think through the ergonomics and user interaction with the object.
Computer modeling was used to refine the form, make renderings and create 3D STEP files that the manufacturer could use for production cost estimates.
Once the 3D CAD model was created, we created photorealistic renderings of the product to help communicate the product design to the stakeholders.
