What We Did
CAD Modeling
We utilized 3D CAD modeling to design the product assembly, help us visualize the product and work out the details of the product design.
High Resolution, Functional Prototype
To support John in introducing his product to the world, we facilitated building a high-resolution functional prototype so he could create initial marketing content and start pre-sales before investing in tooling to produce the product.
Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA)
Continuing to work in CAD, we optimized this design for plastic injection-molding to ensure that the parts could be cost-effectively produced and reliably function.
Engineering Support Through Production
We created engineering documentation including assembly instructions and performed evaluations on pre-production samples to ensure the factory achieved the design intent.
